ON A PATH TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY

For any fashion brand that strives to be responsible, it all starts with sourcing.

Look at the material

Every season we work on expanding the range of planet-friendly materials in our collections. Organic cotton, TENCEL, ramie, modal, cupro, OEKO-TEX certified yarn and even 100% recycled polyester are some of our favorite ones to use. We often source deadstock fabrics and upcycle our own leftover materials to give them a second life and minimize waste generation.

The craftsmanship behind each piece also ensures the durability of our garments that are meant to be worn for many years to come.

MADE TO ORDER, MADE TO LAST

DAIGE is committed to the made-to-order model, meaning that we produce clothes on demand in our atelier. For supply reasons, we maintain a small inventory when it comes to a few designs, primarily T-shirts and knitwear that can only be produced in batches. However for the most part, our on-demand approach enables us to avoid creating surplus stock.

WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS

We are proud to say that 100% of DAIGE garments are made by domestic manufacturers. The major part of production happens in our Budapest atelier, a female-owned and -operated space where proper working conditions and fair wages are unequivocally accepted norms. Designed in-house, the knits are produced in partnership with local knitting manufacturers.

ONE STEP AT A TIME

As an independent brand our decisions are naturally guided by sustainable practices since we feel the need to be resourceful. On the other hand, many environmentally-friendly solutions are simply beyond our reach. Yet. As DAIGE grows, the brand stays devoted to reaching the goals we set for ourselves and for the future of the planet.
